Transformation, as we recognize it, is the measurable shift from self-centered life and lifestyle, to an increase awareness and alignment to God, and the integration of all of life into a passionate calling to live for Christ, fully, in the world, in the family, in the church, and in the relationships each of us are engaged in.
Kingdom influence is marked by greater acts of love and kindness within a community and/or region. It is seen in our blessing of signs of God and his activity in our world. Kingdom transformation can occur on varying scales from the individual level, to entire people groups and sectors of society.
There is a variety of congregations but one church in any city and we are to love and bless that church.
Humility is foundational to unity and growth and is best learned in a context of evangelical diversity.
Theology is relational in its understanding and practice. Obeying Christ’s command to love one another is at its core.
Recognizing and valuing the unique contribution each race and culture brings to the Body of Christ is necessary for community transformation.
Emotionally healthy and spiritually free people are best able to carry out Christ’s command to love one another and advance the Kingdom of God.
The practice of the priesthood of all the believers is essential for the Kingdom of God to be established in a city.
