  3. practical projects that challenge participants move the learning from head, to heart.

Why CTS?

All over America, Christian’s walk out of church buildings every Sunday, and stands expectantly at the threshold of the world. The question often is not whether they have heard truth and experienced God, but how do they take what they have heard, and apply it to the world in which they live and work?

Christians live and work in mainstream culture, yet few feel they are comfortable in living out their faith in a secular setting. Thus, Christians tend to isolate themselves with other Christians. They often become cloistered, bound by Christian jargon, and increasingly distant from the world they are called to impact.

Believers also face real threats to their values, their faith, and their lifestyle within the secular institutions they serve. They often lack resources to integrate their faith and practice into the workplace and into culture.

What is the mission of CTS?

CTS partners with local churches to be a bridge for people of faith, helping them to engage and connect their calling into the worlds of business, government, education, arts & media and the Church.

What We Believe

We Believe...

The Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

That there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In the deity of Jesus Christ; in His Virgin Birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.

That for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

The Kingdom of God is the New Testament expression for the eternal rule of Christ among and within the community of believers. In this world we are called to expand this Kingdom and to reveal its nature and power.

It is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of Communion.

“We have to take the responsibility to help people figure out what their gifts are to help them find their vocation. Because if they are not able to do that, they will never fulfill their complete and total role in the Body of Christ.”
